Key Accountabilities

This position is responsible for supporting the reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes in ARYZTA North America.  This role will have a close working relationship across the business including both finance and operational teams.  The successful candidate will possess a strong sense of controls / commitment around the completeness and accuracy of financial reporting, attention to detail, diplomacy, and agility to learn and address change quickly.



  • Strive to develop an in-depth understanding of entire North America business, both operationally and financially
  • Proactively provide viewpoints on how to continuously improve processes and controls (financial or operational) based on developing an understanding of the business
  • Provide support to business partners with cost center analysis / maintenance, forecasting and detailed budgeting
  • Develop and maintain detailed budget process program for training, process assumptions, and detailed process instructions
  • Lead reporting and budgeting training programs for the finance teams and relevant business partners and provide continual support throughout relevant processes
  • Facilitate the consolidation of forecast and budget submittals with each of the finance teams while providing a review over the details to validate for appropriateness
  • Load forecast and budget details into relevant systems for internal or group finance reporting
  • Coordinate directly with the SQL developer to build / manage exception logs, maintain current master data for reporting, and provide timely resolutions to identified issues or potential risks
  • In normal course of the role, provide review over relevant financial information being overseen to ensure completeness and accuracy as well as appropriateness considering an understanding of IFRS
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
  • Support and participate in special projects as required



Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting , Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant financial planning & analysis or related experience
  • Strong system and analysis skills
  • SAP experience (preferable)
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
  • SQL or other relevant relational database experience (a plus)
  • Public accounting experience (a plus)
  • Able to prioritize a large number of financial and operational activities
  • Be comfortable in a fast paced growth environment with an appropriate balance of urgency and quality
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
  • Focus on continuous improvement, quality and performance management
