The Sr. Planning Analyst will provide detailed level strategic support to both the Planning and Supply Chain Analytics and Optimization functions. This role will require a strong technical background in Supply Chain concepts and demonstrated ability to exhibit analytical capabilities. As a change agent, you will understand the IBP vision and deliver to the needs of the business.

 

Planning (LTP)

Oversees the demand & supply planning and overall demand fulfillment processes, including the finished goods and raw material inventory plans, and the development of production requirements, capacity planning/constraints with all other X-functional planning activities.

 

Analytics & Optimization

Participate in supply chain projects and initiatives focused on developing new or enhanced solutions for data intensive problems. Provide analytical support for Supply Chain teams including collaboration with business subject matter experts. The role will provide analysis and quantitative models as part of cross-functional process improvement projects. The role will also provide visualizations and descriptive results of analyses and will be responsible for communication and distribution of those results to Leadership.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the planning & demand fulfillment processes in support of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and in alignment with the business's objectives.
  • Provide analytics to the planning organization to drive optimization of the raw material and finished goods inventory investment.
  • Responsible for development and deployment of necessary dashboards and reporting
  • Leverage data and technology to analyze a variety of qualitative and quantitative data to help support the business and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analyze changes to the SC network, LTP in Finished Goods & Raw Material inventory to drive annual cost reductions, cost control, or improved performance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal partners Supply Chain, Operations, BI Team and SAP team in order to build effective reporting and analytical tools and dashboards.
  • Leverages Subject Matter Expertise to develop and conduct training on analytical tools and dashboards.
  • Develops new templates, tools and applications as required
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required by supervisor
  • Support Supply Planning and Master Data teams to maintain master data in SAP
  • Analyze short term and long-term inputs from cross-functional teams.
  • Support the network design analysis & recommend transformational and/or incremental network improvement initiatives

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management or Business Management
  • 1 year experience in a supply chain or business role will be preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
  • Preferred experience with SAP, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, SQL
  • Highly developed problem solving and prioritization skills that will be demonstrated by the successful and timely completion of assignments.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully execute initiatives with minimal guidance and accomplish the stated goals.
  • Foundational knowledge of IBP, S&OP, Production/Materials/Demand Planning and physical distribution concepts.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to interface with various levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team setting
