Key Accountabilities

Leads coordination of material preparation and meeting process for key planning process functions to deliver a consistent and reliable review process to support the business of XYZ company across our diverse customer base. Will work closely with Business Units, Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Development, Commercialization, Finance and Procurement to meet deadlines and deliver solutions.  In addition, this position will work to coordinate activities with cross functional teams to support the development of an optimized and efficient sourcing model, vetting new opportunities and continually supporting evaluation of capacity and adjustments needed to the supply network.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Both assisting and ensuring all verticals of the planning process are meeting required timelines and providing accurate and relevant updates for the needed reviews.
  • Ensuring follow up of needed actions for key report development for VP Planning.
  • Assisting with integration and cross functional communication between  teams
  • Development of Continues Improvement activities and enhancements to the planning processes.
  • Lead integrated weekly reviews of the Integrated Business Execution (IBE) process to highlight risks and concerns to supply of finished goods to the business.
  • Develop tracking system for new opportunities being vetted.
  • Development of relevant presentation materials for results of vetted projects.
  • Coordinate and ensure needed feedback of reviews are provided in a timely manner, as well as available for all Governance discussions.
  • Work cross functionally with other members of the supply chain functions to help identify needs and concerns in a timely manner to prevent and minimize disruptions.
  • Work with other key planning processes on evaluation of Aryzta’s food portfolio to help ensure cross team knowledge of foods, and review of portfolio for proper discontinuation identification and elimination.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
     

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations and planning, preferably in baking.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with leading multiple projects, managing priorities, and resource management
  • Able to deal with cutting edge processes and new ideas
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and creative thinker
  • Able to build relationships across diverse functions.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively as a team across various functions and work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, strong skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills across various levels including executive management.
  • Ability to travel via commercial airline in North America.
