Commercial Sales Manager, Foodservice – Aryzta Food Solutions Ireland

Overall Purpose of Role:

This role will have full responsibility for managing and developing the Foodservice Field Sales business for Aryzta Food Solutions Ireland. The successful candidate will manage, develop and motivate a Field Sales team across IOI 32 counties to ensure consistent delivery and execution of best in class customer experience and delivery of sales budgets for the Foodservice business.


Main duties & responsibilities:
•The deployment and management of resources - people, budgets, time, to deliver sales and margin targets.
•Development and consistency of all activities associated with the field.
•Coordinate field sales activity and ensure that current activities reflect market opportunities in relation to product launches, promotions, seasonal lines etc.
•Management of the team to drive Foodservice plans at outlet level.
•Be aware of and promote relevant Aryzta Food Solutions Concepts which are appropriate for Foodservice Channels.
•Command an expert knowledge of current Foodservice markets allowing identification of opportunities with the ability to communicate competitor activity i.e. pricing, product range etc.
•Through your team, coordinate all activities and inputs to deliver results within the field.
•Work cross functionally with other departments in the business e.g. National Accounts, Finance, Marketing and HR to deliver shared objectives that will result in maximisation of both sales and profit for the organisation.
•Embrace and drive roll out of CRM for your team.

Budget management

•Full responsibility for margin within the Foodservice channel.

People management

•Responsible for the development of a highly skilled and focused team that will assist in delivering the required vision to the Foodservice division.
•Coaching and proactive management of your direct reports ensuring that goals and objectives are clearly defined for the team while providing support and guidance.
•Foster an ethos of team work across the entire Field Sales Team.

Relationship building

•Responsible for the proactive management of existing customer relationships and the development of new relationships to support the strategic business plan for the Foodservice channel.
•Continuous fostering of relationships at outlet level.


Skills & Qualifications – Essential

•Proven track record within the business with at least 5 years sales management experience and a proven track record in delivering sales targets for the business.
•Proven track record and ability to develop strong working relationships with senior business managers and customers
•Budget management skills
•Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to mentor develop and lead a sales team.
•Foodservice market knowledge and understanding of current landscape and channels
