We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled cold store Maintenance Technician based in Grange Castle, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
You must have experience in both mechanical and electrical experience with a strong understanding of an automated environment. this is a multi - skilled role and you must be willing to work in a cold environment on a continental shift pattern.
Principle duties will include:
Preventive and Reactive Maintenance on the following:
- Automated storage cranes system and transfercars (Dambach).
- Conveyor Belts, chains and lifting tables (One kilometre of Belts & Chains controlled by 600 motor and over 2,000 various types of sensors.
- Tilt tray sortation system (Beumer)
- Automated film wrapper system (Octopus)
- Industrial lifts
- Vertical spiral conveyors system.
- De-Humidifiers ( Drying the air for the loading bay)
- Pallet Stacker and De - stacker systems
- Automated label printer and label applicator
- Various types 3-Phase induction motors and gearboxes
- Dock Levellers.
- Facilities: HVAC, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Hot water and heating system.
- Siemens PLCs Controls, Profibus, Ethernet and HMI displays
- Electrical Switchgear.
- Variable speed drives. ( VSD drives)
- Systems - SCADA and PLC/Server driven systems.
- Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
- Good understanding of with CCMS system (SAP)
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Repair of general services, Lighting, Emergency lights, CCTV camera system
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Strong mechanical background with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Electrical background – ability to use multi meter and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Ability to read both electrical and mechanical schematic drawings
- Ability to weld is an advantage.
- Trades/Diploma qualifications required.
- Good team player and self-motivated.
- Available for call out duties and / or overtime when required.
- SAP computerised maintenance system would is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of an automated environment (Siemens PLC)
You must be available for call outs and overtime when scheduled in this position and must be prepared to undertake other work that may be assigned to you from time to time, which may be outside the area of your normal duties.
