Main duties

• Assist in month end accounts preparation & balance sheet reporting
• Weekly bank reconciliations
• Keep cashflow reporting (‘Cash Analytics’ system) updated
• Preparation of balance sheet recs
• Posting of month end accruals and prepayments
• Intercompany management – issuing & receiving charges, obtaining appropriate approvals, agreeing balances at month end.
• Preparation of manufacturing waste reports.
• Rebate (LTA agreements) calculations and reporting
• Review costs and assist with budgeting & forecasting with local cost centre owners
• Maintenance of fixed asset register and capex approval process
• Internal control review – preparation of ICS file showing support for interal controls in operation.
• Complete tax returns – VAT, intrastat, vies, 46G
• Co-ordinate with other departments on behalf of local finance (Creditor reconciliations, payroll KPIs, accounts receivable etc.)
• Assist in improving BI and SAP reporting
• Group reporting templates
• IFRS statutory accounts preparation
• Assist with audit
• Ah hoc project work

• Complete monthly, quarterly & annual returns for National Statistics Office

The candidate

• CIMA / ACCA /ACA part qualified with a willingness to learn and progress.
• Prior SAP, BI and BPC experience would be advantageous but not essential
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Able to work on own initiative
• Versatile team player
