Senior Procurement Finance Analyst - Permanent

Senior Procurement Finance Analyst (Permanent).

 

Role Overview:

  1. Working in a pan-European Procurement team responsible for Direct, Indirect and BIFG procurement.
  2. Opportunity to gain brilliant exposure to a best in class Procurement department and understand the key levers involved in optimising our business raw material, packaging, BIFG and indirect spend.
  3. Liaison with Procurement teams across multiple European countries managing spend in bakery plants and food solution business units.
  4. Working directly with head of procurement finance, procurement managers and regional procurement teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to present monthly deliverables on material price development, coverage of key commodities and tracking of annual procurement benefit to senior management.
  2. Gather, manipulate & analyse large amounts of data (important to be able to identify trends, spot issues and maintain integrity across reports & databases).
  3. Provide ad hoc reports to the business on request.
  4. Drive optimisation projects to improve our P2P processes whenever possible.
  5. Development of procurement KPIs which communicate the progress of department strategy.

Education:

  1. 2.1 honours degree or better.
  2. Professional accountancy qualification or similar.

 

Skills & Experience:

  1. 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar type of financial / business partner position.
  2. Genuine desire to gain experience within a procurement function.
  3. Advanced working knowledge of excel, its formulas and shortcuts is required.
  4. Management accounting knowledge to monitor material cost variances.
  5. Excellent communication skills are essential as role requires regular contact with multiple internal stakeholders.
  6. Excellent ability to manipulate large pieces of data combined with strong analytical skills to identify trends is essential.
  7. Ability to perform in a flexible and fast paced working environment.
  8. Knowledge of European languages (particularly German and French) is a plus.
