Position Purpose

The Engineering Services Manager is accountable for the provision of technical services in the areas of reliability and capital program management as well as other related engineering areas in line with business needs.

Key Accountabilities

Serves as the principal contact for training pertaining to SAP and Reliability Engineering.  As key SAP EAM Super User, ensures that new users in SAP EAM are provided with the adequate training materials and contacts to be able to perform their job.  Assures planners can generate KPIs from SAP. Provides critical support services to the Engineering Services team in report generation, management of PO generation, capital invoicing and cash flow management with AP.

The SAP EAM Training Lead/Manager is accountable for the creation, management, delivery, control and tracking of the following:

  • Responsible for the establishment, monitoring and enforcement of standards, policies and ways of working and the delivery of the appropriate training materials
  • Maintain training development and delivery infrastructure
  • Ensure solution knowledge transfer and training. This will include both system functionality and processes
  • Develops and distributes training topics and presentations to bakeries of a Reliability nature. 
  • Develops training materials and delivery of end user training
  • Teaches procurement standards and inventory control methods to those assigned bakery roles.
  • Perform User Access Review for ANA IT quarterly

Support the Engineering Services team by creating and distributing reports including:

  • Maintain and distribute weekly Maintenance KPIs
  • Develop and distribute weekly Cycle Count report for Maintenance spare parts
  • Create and distribute monthly Bakery Business Review for ETDT, WO and PM completions
  • Develop and distribute Capital Invoice review monthly and work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely processing
  • Participate in project team meetings and provide support in data management, reporting, etc.

 

Responsibilities

  • Development of  Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM) training, including presentations, exercise workbooks and quick reference guides
  • Create and conduct train-the-trainer and super user network training, end user training, and coaching
  • Reporting to key management within Aryzta to provide updates on Maintenance Departments’ EAM training, capabilities, and compliance with Policies
  • Maintains training materials to ensure they are up to date.
  • Maintains SAP contact sheet to ensure people and phone numbers are correct and sends out updates to those on the lists
  • Conducts SAP PM training of all planners, technicians, supervisors and managers.
  • Trouble shoots via online technology or on site visits of any SAP PM issues
  • Creates and presents SAP PM refresher training on site or online to bakeries
  • Attends training/conferences/other venues to stay current with SAP PM.
  • Coaching in order to support other teams of the company, if needed
  • Evaluating the SAP users level of knowledge in order to train them accordingly
  • Creation and approval of training tool kits- (examples - training materials, quick reference guides, job aids, process maps and interactive training)
  • Create a training needs analysis based on organizational impact
  • Escalate system problems to the IT Systems Manager in a timely manner
  • Train employees in standardized procurement processes in SAP
  • Train employees in standardized inventory control processes in SAP
  • Train employees in standardized cycle count processes
  • Review and approve requests for SAP spare parts creation and changes, confirming Spare Parts Policy is being adhered to

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 5 years SAP PM experience and training others
  • Must be able to work in SAP PM Transaction based environment.
  • Must be able to work in SAP Materials Management (MM) Transaction based environment.
  • Must be able to work in SAP Purchasing (PU) Transaction based environment.
  • Sound and correct understanding of equipment reliability concepts
  • Sound knowledge of procurement and inventory control in MRO environment
  • Solid appreciation of risk management strategy and practices related to plant and equipment
  • Solid appreciation of quality management methods and practices related to plant and equipment reliability
  • Must have enough general Maintenance background to understand scope of work to be performed.
  • Must have good planning and coordination skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office skills a must.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively to wide variety of stakeholders
  • Maintain valid passport, visa or other credentials for international travel
