Logistics Manager


The Logistics Inventory Control Analyst will support our logistics department with a variety of tasks, yet will also be empowered to work independently on special projects. 


  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficient with Statistical Analysis 
  • Familiarity with Business Systems (SAP, TMS, WMS, etc.)
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact both inside and outside the organization
  • Committed to continuous improvement in a dynamic industry

  • Perform inventory analysis and management to avoid low stock and overstock.
  • Develop inventory plan to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Report product issues to the concern team for immediate resolution.
  • Place product orders on timely manner and track open purchase orders.
  • Plan and complete the assigned tasks within the deadlines.
  • Work with Product Manager to maximize sales and reduce overstocks.
  • Manage inventory adjustments and transfers.
  • Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions.
  • Communicate complex inventory problems to Manager promptly.
  • Develop process improvements to achieve company inventory goals.
  • Develop initiatives to reduce slow moving inventories and to improve inventory turns.
  • Generate and maintain monthly reports on inventory levels.
  • Review inventory activities and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in inventory risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Maintain product specification data item wise from SAP. 
  • To submit claims for lost goods, goods damaged, overages shipped by the warehouse. 
  • To submit claims for detention charges, goods lost, goods damaged by the carriers.
