Job Description

  • Responsibility of Channel P&L (Including Customer level and Brand P&L)
    • Standard Gross Margin
    • Customer Level Promotional Programs
    • Pricing and Trade Spend
    • Revenue / Net Sales
    • Support all aspect of the Channel P&L: budgeting, forecasting,  and helping Customer Development to achieve corporate strategy and annual targets
    • Prepare Week/Month/Quarter/Year End Customer Finance Reports
    • Provide active leadership in financial processes, liaise with shared services and other departments to ensure process efficiencies, reporting accuracies and timely issue resolution
    • Perform price change impact analysis, including GM risk and profitability assessments
    • Analyse new contract requests for alignment with pricing strategies and account growth objectives.
    • Build strong relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive the successful implementation of identified optimization opportunities.
    • Distressed Product Exposure Management – Accountable for managing exposure against forecast
    • Customer Business Reviews – Accountable for timely and accurate reviews
    • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analyses to drive business decisions

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of finance experience, preferably with a CPG company
  • 3+ years of pricing and trade management experience
  • strong understanding of product gross margin, food manufacturing and distribution costs
  • Strong business acumen
  • University degree in Finance, preferably with CPA designation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple functions and levels
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Highly confident and disciplined
  • Creative in approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
