Business Developer Retail - North Leinster / Midlands

As part of our continued growth, we welcome applications from experienced, ambitious, self-driven candidates, to join our Retail Business Developer team. This role will be responsible for the geographic territory of Cork City & County.

Working with an experienced team, the role of Business Developer is responsible for the delivery of sales budgets, securing of new business and ensuring the consistent delivery and execution of a best in class customer experience.

Location: Specific Geographical Territory - North Leinster / Midlands

 

Principle Accountabilities include:
•    Management and development of new and existing Retail or Foodservice accounts
•    Provision of excellent customer service, product and industry knowledge 
•    Expansion of the current offering and proposition to existing customers
•    Delivery of a prompt response to all customer queries ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved as quickly as possible
•    Driving of continual improvement of product knowledge and sharing this with customers to generate greater sales growth
•    Submission of daily and weekly sales paperwork including weekly planner to the Food Service Commercial Sales Manager
•    Present quarterly business review meetings with key decision makers which includes in-depth sales analysis, store audits and opportunities with the overall aim to grow sales
•    Accurately maintain CRM data for internal use, field management and analysis. 
•    Work cross functionally with other functions within the business e.g.: National and Key Accounts, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service to deliver shared priorities and objectives


Skills & Qualifications Essential:
•    Commercially minded with a proven track record within the Retails and / or Foodservice business
•    Customer focused with a demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer centric solutions
•    Financial acumen – ability to analyse, interpret and apply sales data to make better business decisions
•    Excellent communication skills which convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
•    Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve results even under tough circumstances
•    Full driving licence

 

Skills & Qualifications Desirable:
•    Culinary, hospitality, food or beverage education or experience
