Key Accountabilities

Under the direct supervision of the sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Lead is responsible for distributing work assignments to staff, organizing completed work logs and enforcing safe working habits. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversees washing of walls, ceilings, floors, removing trash and disinfects all refrigerator units and cleans trash room.
  • Oversees the operation of rack washer, washer extractors and dryers.
  • Verifies the cleaning maintenance on rack washer, sheet pans, creates baskets, washer extractor and dryer.
  • Responsible for maintaining supplies secure such as paper products for bathrooms and towel dispensers in all buildings.
  • Oversees storage of all cleaning supplies and disinfecting equipment and supplies as instructed.
  • Verifies completed documents on all worked performed on daily cleaning logs and master sanitation schedules
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution of scheduled detailed work, updates master sanitation schedule to reflect work completed.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working area, reports unsafe hazards to Supervisor
  • Actively involved in safety meeting, make suggestions to better improve plant sanitation  
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required by the Supervisor or Manager.

 

Typical Work Schedule:  3rd shift 10 pm to 6:30 am with some Saturdays and/or Sundays.

 

Required Skills:

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Work cooperatively with subordinates.
  • Perform math computations (add, subtract, divide, and multiply).
  • High School diploma or GED desired.
  • 2 + 5 years experience in a baking environment preferred
