Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile weekly Concur travel & P-Card expenses
  • Prepare various month end account reconciliations
  • Prepare and upload weekly and month end journal entries
  • Ensure all month-end accounting deadlines are met
  • Interact with other accounting and finance personnel to ensure proper reporting of transactions
  • Assist in yearend audit
  • Ensure a strong internal control environment and Swiss ICS legislation compliance
  • Support and participate in special projects as assigned
  • Any other duties required to successfully execute this role

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Intermediate-Expert in Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Ability and willingness to dig into details
  • Good analytical skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced growth environment with an appropriate balance of urgency and quality
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
  • Focus on continuous improvement, quality and performance management
  • Some overtime/weekend time required to meet deadlines
