The Analyst, IT-Systems Administrator’s role is to install, administer, secure and optimize ARYZTA’s servers and related components to achieve high performance and availability of the various business applications throughout the Americas. This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuration and deployment of server and storage solutions, and developing processes and procedures for the ongoing monitoring and management of the server and storage environments. Where applicable, the Systems Administrator will assist in overseeing the physical security, integrity, and safety of the data center/server farms and globally distributed systems and will require occasional travel.    This position will also assist other infrastructure teams with operations related to ARYZTA’s overall enterprise IT infrastructure.  Additional responsibilities include tier2\3 support for our distributed technologies, occasional on-call duty, and other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the high-availability and security of server and storage hardware and operating systems.
  2. Serve as the cornerstone for escalating server issues; provide timely response to escalations.
  3. Perform file system configuration and management; define and perform server backups and recovery procedures.
  4. Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches.
  5. Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
  6. Create shell scripts as required.
  7. Manage enterprise directory services (Active Directory) and supporting server infrastructure.
  8. Define and implement strategies for integrating disparate operating environments when needed.
  9. Recommend and execute modifications to server environment in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  10. Develop and maintain training materials and server documentation.
  11. Other duties as required.

Job Requirements 

Technical Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ equivalent work experience in a position responsible for managing server environments.
  • Experience with Cisco UCS and Dell rack-mount servers.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019, VMware and other operating systems.
  • EMC VNXe/Unity, Nimble, Commvault, and Hyper-converged solution experience.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of server hardware and associated network equipment, including SCSI, RAID, and I/O topology.
  • Experience with server performance tuning and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and firewall management.
  • Working technical knowledge of scripting code using PowerShell.
  • General knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN or NAS, as well as Active Directory.
  • Experience with Exchange, Orion Solar Winds, Dell/EMC SAN Management, WSUS, SCCM, and SharePoint a plus.



  • B.S degree in computer science, information technology, a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 
  • Microsoft certifications

Working Conditions
