HR Coordinator



Key Accountabilities
Provides Human Resources support services to bakery employees by coordinating employee life cycle processes and activities.  Responsible maintaining Employee Master Data accuracy and maintenance of employee records.  Responds to routine employee HR inquiries.

• Maintain full hourly employment staffing level in the bakery-advance planning, submit & enter job requisitions for all open positions & post all internal & external job postings via Success Factors. Maintain a log for all open positions and backfilling positions, conduct job fair events, screening applications via Success Factors, selection of applicants for bakery tour and pre-interview information meeting, arranging drug /background screens. Arrange new hire orientations and conducting the HR part of the orientation with the HR manager’s assistance. Performing other onboarding duties.
• Responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts such as job fairs and working with staffing agency when needed.
• Follow-up on new hire 90 evaluations
• Perform administrative functions for the Human Resources department including reporting on statistics related to new hires and terminations. Create new hire files. Maintain all paper and electronic personnel files for hourly employees. Ensures that personnel records conform with company policy
• Responsible for the confidentiality of sensitive personnel data and consistently apply practices and procedures set forth by Aryzta LLC.  
• Process changes such as leaves of absence, terminations, and resignations utilizing Success Factors.
• Follows HR processes to transact all employee lifecycle activities in a timely and accurate manner. These processes include, but are not limited to: new hire paperwork, onboarding, new hire orientation, transfers, end of employment coordination and paperwork, leave of absence tracking/communication.

• HR support for employees to assist with questions/issues with benefits including health & welfare, 401k, PTO & compensation.
• Initiates and completes all required documentation for on- boarding and forwards to Data Management Services Center (DMSC) if any.
• Oversees time and attendance process for all employees which includes validation of timecards, confirm management team authorizes all timecards before payroll closing in Dayforce system.
• Participates and coordinate employee engagement activities designed to boost morale such as employee luncheons, new hire rallies, awards, Health fairs, and holiday festivities.
• Assists in Open Enrollment and training as needed on varying shifts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws related to all employee life cycle activities. Formally trained in I-9 Compliance and ensures recordkeeping is in alignment with Company expectations.
• Call in workers compensation claims to the insurance company .
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and two-way communications with co-workers and other personnel throughout the Company.
• Participates in other related projects as assigned.


Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• System Knowledge: Alchemy, SAP, DayForce, Keller Online, HireRight, Open Hire, Success Factors.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent in English and bilingual (Spanish )is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
• Use of excellent time management, prioritization and interpersonal skills.
