Location:  West Columbia, SC

 

Key Accountabilities

To provide a resource for the Management group to train Clerks, orders supplies, input purchase orders, complete various reports needed for department monitoring and perform other Clerk, administrative duties, as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsabilities

 

  • Follow all warehousing policies and procedures.
  • Creating all purchase order for the shipping department and any other department that needs help (QA) (Fuel, trailers, TCW, CTR, Lift one, Ifco, all shipping needs)
  • Send requests for Temp employees
  • Monitor Transfer Requirements
  • Submit repairs for Radio/LXE repairs on forklifts
  • Creating all Truck Builder orders to ship finished goods
  • Create and Handle shipments for Planners/Purchasers for ingredients, finished goods, and side projects for all management
  • Take all appointments in Lean for outbound and receiving
  • Lean over all TCW orders for our dedicated run
  • Schedule TCW trucks for the week thru the weekend
  • Keep good communication with Charlotte/Columbia for when we have drivers coming their way on a 7 day basis
  • Create all backhaul orders needed for production or planning needs
  • Keep in contact with IC’s for up to date shipments on a daily basis
  • Forklift inventory inspection on a weekly basis
  • Trailer yard check report – 3 times weekly
  • Any deficits or discrepancies must be taken care of at time of loading.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of two (2) years of warehousing experience recommended.

 

Preferred

  • High school diploma
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read/write in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • SAP Experience
