Key Accountabilities

This position is responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of the company’s collaboration and telecommunications infrastructure including voice, contact center, and telepresence related components in North America.  This position will lead related projects across a geographically distributed IT network requiring occasional travel.  This position will also assist in maintaining the Wide Area Network in North America, and will provide training to end users and technical staff in order to support our distributed technologies.


  • Review, coordinate, and perform telecommunication move, add, change, and repair activities.
  • Maintain vendor relationships for local/long distance, conferencing, and hardware providers.
  • Control operating costs by tracking, managing, and auditing telecommunications usage.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to the telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all telecommunication systems.
  • Provide training and support on telecommunication systems and services to end users and technical support staff.
  • Maintain documentation and prepare reports on the operation of telecommunication resources.
  • Participate in the project planning and lead the implementation of new telecommunication and collaboration systems. 
  • Assist in the maintaining of the Wide Area and Branch network infrastructure.
  • Periodic weekend and afterhours support may be required.


Skills, Experience & Qualifications


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide exceptional customer service by communicating complex concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of telecommunication and network technologies, concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience in a medium to large-sized enterprise networking environment.
  • Experienced with Cisco Unified Communications products (Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, Expressway), Cisco routing/switching products, Oracle/ACME Packet SBC, audio/video conferencing, MobileIron or other MDM solutions.
  • Evening and weekend on-call support.
  • Occasional travel (up to 25%); you must possess a valid driver's license and US passport.


  • AS degree, industry certification (CCNA R&S, CCNA\CCNP Collaboration), and/or equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience supporting and integrating CUCM, Webex, and Microsoft Lync\Skype\Teams a plus.
