Responsible for the shipping and receiving, storage, and rotation of raw materials, packaging, finished goods and daily shipping related production requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate stackers and pallet jacks as required.
  • Work in accordance with company policies, departmental procedures, GMP’s and health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper storage and stock rotation using F. I. F.O. and keep like products together for all product inside the freezer, warehouse, and cooler.
  • Assist in preparing for and undertaking physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure production maintains an uninterrupted supply of materials at all times.
  • Accurate assembling and picking of orders.
  • Load and unload truck, trailers etc.
  • Verify actual count and condition of product shipped and received.
  • Responsible for requisitions of materials from the warehouse, cooler and freezer.
  • Maintain water levels on the batteries of the pallet equipment. 
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisor
  • Accurately complete all paper work in a timely manner.   
  • Ensure work area is cleaned at end of the shift.
  • Any property or product damages must be reported immediately to the superivosr on shift.       
  • Bring quality and safety concerns to supervisory staff’s attention.
  • Supply accurate picking of material for production floor.
  • Ensure all trailer locks are engaged when loading and unloading trailers
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

Required

  • Minimum Grade 12 Education with good oral and written English skills
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and nights.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Understands the basics in inventory controls
  • Must be able to understand the scheduling process, quality training and safety policies/procedures.
  • Proven good attendance record
  • Minimum 1 year practical experience on electric reach stackers and pallet jacks
  • Forklift certification
  • Minimum 1 years practical experience on electric reach stackers and pallet jacks.
  • Knowledge on how to utilize SAP program and RF guns
